What is TraxylTM and what is it used for?

TraxylTM used for – Prostatectomy, Menorrhagia, Epistaxis, Conisation of the cervix, Traumatic hyphaema.

Before you take TraxylTM, Do not take this medicine and tell your doctor if

TraxylTM is contraindicated in patients with a history of thromboembolic disease.

Take special care while taking TraxylTM

In patients with renal insufficiency.

How and when to take TraxylTM

TraxylTM  may be taken with or without food.

If you forget to take TraxylTM

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it, but then take your next dose at least 6 hours later. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule.

Possible side effects

Gastro-intestinal disorders (nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea) may occur but disappear when the dosage is reduced. Rare instances of transient color vision disturbance have been reported.

How to store TraxylTM

Store between 2oC- 30oC in dry and dark place. Keep out of the reach of children
