Freemax (Aceclofenac) is a non-steroidal agent with marked anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The mode of action of aceclofenac is largely based on the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins.


What is Freemax and what is it used for?

Freemax (Aceclofenac BP) is used to relieve pain and inflammation in patients suffering from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.

Before you take Freemax, Do not take this medicine and tell your doctor if

Take special care while taking Freemax

Please consult with doctor in case of pregnant woman/lactating mother and if you are having severe liver/kidney impairment, if having GERD.

How and when to take Freemax

Twice daily orally or as directed by Doctor

If you forget to take Freemax

If you forget to take Freemax at any time, take it as soon as you remember; then continue to take it at the usual times. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

If you stop taking Freemax

Do not stop taking Freemax tablets even if you are feeling well, unless your doctor tells you.

If you have any further questions on the use of the product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea
