Corabon-DTM provides Coral Calcium and Vitamin D3, where Coral Calcium is composed of calcium carbonate with small amounts of magnesium and other trace minerals. Coral Calcium has a chemical structure that is very similar to the Composition of human bone Calcium Carbonate. Coral Calcium is similar to other sources but ensures better absorption than calcium of other calcium carbonate origin. Vitamin D3 aids in the absorption of calcium from GI tract and helps to maintain calcium balance in the body.


What is Corabon-D and what is it used for?

Corabon-D is combination of Coral Calcium and Vitamin D3 and is used to prevent or to treat calcium deficiency.

Do not take calcium and vitamin D without your doctor's advice if you are pregnant or breast-feeding a baby. Your dose needs may be different during this time.

Take special care while taking Corabon-D

Patients with mild to moderate renal failure or mild hypercalciuria should be supervised carefully. Periodic checks of plasma calcium levels and urinary calcium excretion should be made in patients with mild to moderate renal failure or mild hypercalciuria. Urinary calcium excretion should also be measured. In patients with a history of renal stones urinary calcium excretion should be measured to exclude hypercalciuria.

How and when to take Corabon-D

It is better to take twice daily.

For better absorption tablets are taken with meal or after meal.

If you forget to take Corabon-D

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

How to store Corabon-D

Store below 25°C but not in the fridge. Store it in the original package, in order to protect from light and moisture.
